A 1972 solo album by Belgian violinist Raymond Vincent of the Wallace Collection, made as a promotional record for the Izarra liqueur: orchestral rock and chamber pieces that point toward his next band Esperanto.

Raymond Vincent was a Belgian violinist who came from the National Philharmonic Orchestra and played in the pop group Wallace Collection, known for the 1969 hit Daydream. In 1972 he recorded Metronomics, an album conceived as a promotional item for the French liqueur Izarra and distributed in small numbers. Soon after he used it to pitch the project that became Esperanto, whose first album appeared in 1973.

The record alternates short pieces for strings, such as Mouvement Pour Archet and Adagio Pour Cordes, with songs and orchestral rock numbers like Pouring Rain and I Ain't Got No Time, the latter co-written with flautist and singer Dirk Bogaert. The violin leads throughout, and several arrangements anticipate the classical and rock blend of Esperanto.

Two bonus tracks come from a 1967 single, Walking In The Bach's World and Pictures Of The Girl I Loved.

Japanese CD reissue by Belle Antique in a mini LP sleeve with obi and Japanese liner notes, SHM-CD, remastered, with two bonus tracks.
