The very first solo album from Der Plan member Moritz R® as an exclusive, original Japanese release on Suezan Studio!

2024 Stock. Japan release only. ** You don't actually need to say too many words about Moritz "®" Reichelt. The multi-talent, born in 1955, was already represented at Documenta 4 in his youth and founded the new wave gallery "Art Attack" in Wuppertal with his later bandmate Frank Fenstermacher and later the label “Ata Tak”. In addition to many other works in the field of fine art, illustration and design, he is best known as a founding member of the trio “Der Plan”, which has been active since the late 1970s and pioneered the emerging New German Wave.

Moritz R®, who made his home in Berlin shortly after the turn of the millennium, is still active on all terrains today (including the 2002 revival of “Der Plan”) and is now presenting his very first solo album in 2021! “After Herzenslust” is released as an original release on the label of the Japanese Krautrock specialist Suezan Studio as a CD and of course also as a high-quality LP. It contains 16 pearls of modern pop culture, pleasantly timelessly floating between folk music, synth-pop and experimental and filled with so much exquisite wisdom, Dadaistic nonsense and sarcastic malice - a wonderful homage to freedom in Moritz R®'s unmistakable signature! The mastering for both formats was done by “Der Plan” bandmate Pyrolator.
