2024 Stock. Japan release only. ** The duo Lustige Mutanten , consisting of Ludger Rößner (a.k.a. Exo Neutrino) and Tom Dokoupil (Siluetes 61, The Wirtschaftswunder), was active for a short time in the early 1980s and released the remarkable pre-NDW epic in 1981 on the band's own label Pop-O-Rekords “UnPop” with 13 minimalist tracks in a 7″ single format, which was delivered in a 12″ LP sleeve and can now be considered a collector’s item. Forty years later, “UnPop” is now available on CD for the first time as a carefully remastered new edition!

The strictly limited anniversary edition appears as a Japanese original release in two different versions by Suezan Studio, who have made a name for themselves with lovingly designed reissues of top-class Krautrock and NDW titles.

The Limited Regular Edition of the CD, which has already almost sold out in Japan, artistically imitates the concept of the 1981 vinyl version; it is only available in the “small” 8cm/3″ format, which was only popular in this country in the early days of the CD and is now almost extinct in Japan too. CD format, but in a cardboard sleeve (“Mini LP sleeve”) in “normal” CD format. It contains all 13 tracks from the original 7″ EP as well as artwork based on the original release!
