Der Golem – one of the biggest cult acts from Russia (ceased to exist) was created in 1999 by musicians Dmitry Zubov (Hypnoz) and Roman Sidorov (Staruha Mha, Fatal, Sedativ). Their sound stands out from anything you might have heard from Russia and represents a strange and unique mix of Industrial, Post Rock, Shoegazer, Ambient; Post-punk. In 1999 and 2000 they created 2 albums, which made a huge impact on the Russian underground. Both musicians are dead: Roman Sidorov ended existence in September 2003, Dmitry Zubov in November 2011. This double-CD is an anthology, combining most of the material ever released by Der Golem plus some previously unreleased live-recordings.

Discipline of the blown-up bridges: "...The dirty industrial sound made generally by means of an electric guitar and old analog synthesizers. The material excellent and behind music is felt not hefty spirit of her founders. It is classics of a domestic industrial underground..."
