Music from the Space Theatre of the Steel Pavilion at Expo '70 in Osaka, a hall whose musical programme was directed by Toru Takemitsu. His Crossing sets chorus, guitar, harp, piano and vibraphone against the Japan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under Seiji Ozawa, and Yuji Takahashi's Yéguèn, recorded in 1969, is conducted by Hiroshi Wakasugi.

Hibiki Hana Ma by Iannis Xenakis is a tape work built from orchestral and Japanese instrumental sounds, diffused in the pavilion through hundreds of loudspeakers, a dense, violent sound mass. Originally released on LP by RCA in 1970. This is the 2004 Japanese CD reissue.
