1971 Japanese pressing on RCA of volume 2 of the 1970 live album.

condition (record/cover): NM / NM

No obi nor insert.

Japanese RCA edition of the 1970 Fondation Maeght material, Volume 2 - the final Albert Ayler concerts in the pressing quality Japan is famous for, and this music rewards clean, quiet vinyl. The Saint-Paul-de-Vence performances have a special glow in the discography: outdoors, in France, before a devoted audience, Ayler playing with an urgency that half a century has not diminished by a single degree. The Japanese market always understood this catalog better than most, and treated it accordingly. A fine way to own the last chapter, and to hear how much life was still in the music at the very end.
