Streichquartett (1973): Performed by the Berner Streichquartett, this quartet is a dense, approximately 27-minute exploration of avant-garde string techniques. Die Jahreszeiten (1975): Four songs for mixed choir based on poems by Friedrich Hölderlin, performed by the Schola Cantorum Stuttgart under the direction of Clytus Gottwald. Chaconne für Violoncello solo (1975): A solo work performed by Walter Grimmer. It is part of the "eSACHERe" variations commissioned by Mstislav Rostropovich to honor Paul Sacher, using a musical cryptogram of Sacher's name.
