The two oldest Curran solo pieces ever issued, both predating even Songs and Views from the Magnetic Garden (1975), released for the first time in 2010 in a limited edition of 450 copies by Bruno Stucchi's Milan imprint Die Schachtel.

Side A, Under the Fig Tree (1972), began as a monophonic line from Curran's Music for Every Occasion series and became a duet for VCS3 ("Putney") synthesizer and trombone (originally played live against the tape by Giancarlo Schiaffini). Only the synthesizer layer is heard here. Side B, The Magic Carpet (1970), comes from a sound installation Curran built with the painter Paul Klerr at the Galleria Mara Coccia/Arco D'Alibert in Rome. Silver-and-gloss-varnish printed sleeve, twelve-inch bilingual booklet.
