condition (record/cover): NM / EX Gatefold sleeve. Insert included. Tremblement De Terre Très Doux / Espaces Inhabitables / Trois Rêves d'Oiseau on INA-GRM finds François Bayle developing these concerns further. The "very gentle earthquake" of the title is an oxymoron that defines his entire aesthetic: cataclysm and caress, violence and tenderness coexisting without resolution.

The three bird dreams return to the avian figure, but transfigured beyond recognition. This is no longer the recorded bird of Jean-Claude Roché's field recordings or the evoked bird of Olivier Messiaen's piano pieces: it's a dreamed bird, a creature existing only in the electroacoustic medium. Bayle constructs imaginary aviaries populated by species no biologist will ever catalog. The GRM's own label gives these works institutional imprimatur, acknowledgment that Bayle's vision had become central rather than marginal.
