This volume of the Xenakis Edition collects three orchestral scores. Metastaseis A (1953-54) is heard in its original version for an orchestra of 65 musicians and is a first recording. It was taped live in 2008 by the Orchestra Sinfonica RAI.
Terretektorh (1965-66) and Nomos Gamma (1967-68) place the orchestra among the audience: the first is scored for 88 musicians and the second for 98, all dispersed among the public. Both were recorded live at the Holland Festival in Amsterdam in 2011 by the Residentie Orkest The Hague conducted by Arturo Tamayo.
