*2025 stock. 50 copies limited edition* Sleepwalker was a one-off quintet assembled August 2023 to perform at the regional premiere of a Pauline Oliveros documentary film. Inspired by Oliveros' teachings, these recordings were made in a former tank garage (a space that was once used to store military tanks). Galassini spread contact mics throughout the resonate flooring of the space in order to amplify movement and other frictions alongside our more traditional instrumentation - creating the basic platform for the direction and form of the piece. Carried out in the form of a loosely guided improvisation, the sounds are held by space, consideration, and time.
