On the CD Sainkho is heard in a solo improvisation of throat singing and high registers, and in a duo with Ned Rothenberg on shakuhachi, both recorded at the Music Gallery in May 1996.
Eve Egoyan plays two long excerpts from de Alvear's De puro amor, followed by John Beckwith's After Images, After Webern, Serge Garant's Cage d'oiseau with Pauline Vaillancourt, and two pieces by David Demnitz for the New York Gamelan Son of Lion.
