Issue 89 of Musicworks, summer 2004, with features on John Gzowski, the tuba player Robin Hayward and Jim Burton. Gzowski's pieces on the CD include a mutation for multitracked cat's cradle, while Hayward plays his Coil for solo tuba, and his Crank Start for solo violin.
The middle of the disc goes to a group of musicians including Los Cuises, Fabián Racca and Gustavo Sidam, with pieces such as Resounding Pipe and Circuito Integrado. Gzowski is joined by Julia Aplin on Birdos. Burton closes with four short pieces, among them one for his Rotosonoriphone.
