Two pivotal classic pieces from the 60's, respectively for piano and tape and for realistic sounds, released on Wergo's "Studio Reihe Neuer Musik" contemporary and electronic music series in 1969. Beautiful and essential.

condition (record/cover): NM / NM Insert included. Und So Weiter / Music Promenade on Wergo brings Luc Ferrari into German territory, the label of Karlheinz Stockhausen and Teutonic new music. "And so on" says the first title, a gesture of nonchalance masking the precision underneath. "Music Promenade" announces the sound walk, a form Ferrari practiced for decades.

The promenade recalls Erik Satie and his "furniture music," but Ferrari doesn't want background: he wants mobile attention, listening that walks. The disc permits the promenade without leaving the couch, a paradox Ferrari would have appreciated. Space compresses into playback time; the journey happens in the mind rather than the feet.
