Witold Lutosławski wrote Trois Poèmes D'Henri Michaux in 1962 and 1963 for twenty-voice choir and orchestra, each with its own conductor: here he leads the Polish Radio Choir himself, while Jan Krenz conducts the Polish Radio Great Symphony Orchestra. The choir whispers, shouts and murmurs in his technique of limited aleatory, where parts move freely within fixed limits.
Krenz also conducts Postludium (1958 to 1960). The String Quartet (1964) is played by the LaSalle Quartet, who gave its first performance. Issued by Wergo in its Studio Reihe Neuer Musik series, with an eight-page German insert by Josef Häusler.
