戦隊Slugmasterによる腥體損傷型SCUMTh'ERROR'PY
*200 copies limited edition* Artist Wataru Kasahara originally hoisted the standard for destructive “th’error’py” back in the 1980s and since then he has continued to create both art and music, with Art into Life releasing an album under his Radio Embudagonn moniker in 2013. This current release is a sprawling tapestry documenting the story of the battles between the monstrous Squadron Slugmaster and a mysterious organisation called International Ill-Shaker. Kasahara began recording this work in…

Premonitions
*60 copies limited edition* “Whenever I go, I can't help but notice signs of a looming change. I eavesdrop on conversations of creatures big and small, and like me, they seem uneasy and uncertain about what's to come. Something is in the air, dark clouds gather, winds are shifting course. Amidst the confusion and restlessness, the voices of non-human and human worlds blend in a worrisome symphony. This piece is an ode to anticipation, to the beauty of different forms of life on the brink of the …
Between Scylla And Charybdis
For a number of years now, Splintered have played a sporadic selection of live shows in London, Krakow and Wroclaw. Due to the fact the original members found themselves both still getting on well together and being able to tap into the chemistry that was there until the group ground to a halt in 1997, the idea of recording new material was never far away. As such, between 2021 and 2024 Splintered began working on new material and managed to finish a few songs that are now presented on the first…
Javakade 8485
The Rome based imprint, Villa Lontana Records, continues their incredible dedication to the work of Walter Maioli, with the first ever reissue of the seminal, experimental Italian composer, sound archeologist and musicologist's 1985 release, “Javakade 8485”, made with his long-time collaborator Fred Gales. A radical gesture of musique concrète that still feels groundbreaking and forward-thinking nearly 40 years after it first appeared, this stunner is issued for the first time on vinyl, as well …
Live In Paris
* 2CD. Includes audio download code.*  Mute and Spoon Records present the next instalment of the curated Can live concert series, Live in Paris 1973—the first in the series to feature Damo Suzuki's vocals. The series was overseen by founding member Irmin Schmidt and producer/engineer René Tinner, who delicately worked on restoring the archival recordings to the best quality for current modern technology. This record captures the band’s 1973 performance in Paris and features Irmin Schmidt on keyb…
Voices, An Acousmatic Trip (CD)
Starting from the end of 2022, as part of an urban regeneration project through artistic experimentation, I recorded the sounds of the industrial area of Bari but also the voices of the elderly and children. Over time the sounds (human voices but also the voices of machinery transport and non-human nature) began to mix in the memory and under the action of the imagination.
Traces, An Acousmatic Path (2CD)
These acousmatic works, united by a unitary narrative path, refer to a compositional "canon", implicitly inaugurated by Luc Ferrari in the 60s, which proposes real "sound photographs", which he defined, even ironically, "anecdotal music".  Just as some of the trends in painting, plastic arts and photography are figurative - that is, they represent the world in an iconic way (with a greater or lesser level of realism) - in the same way many of Ferrari's acousmatic works consist, at the base, of M…
Breaks
Debut solo CD by Wuhan-born, London-based artist, Zheng Hao, who also performs in the duos Oishi (with Ren Shang) and ecm (with Joseph Khan). Four lean and sinewy improvisations; the sound of tightly controlled buzzing and rippling electric currents, pointillistic splintering rhythms and textures, sparse jagged incursions, and wiry static blasts. In the artist's own words, Breaks explores "rhythmic patterns from dusty potentiometers and dirty electronic circuits in modular synthesis improvisatio…
Jasu Jest
New collaboration between DressingDressingDressing. Mysterious murky tape music akin to Hands To, Yeast Culture, early Small Cruel Party, etc. Jasu Jest is their debut release and presents a seamless blend of styles and sounds from each, e.g. broken textural tape noise, magnetic wobble, faint buried melodies, fragments of distant voices and incidental sounds, and obscured domestic and field recordings. An incredibly accomplished first statement from what will hopefully be a long and fruitful col…

Volume 1

This project emerged from the home workshop of Christian Ruggiero, a renowned composer for film and television with a passion for classic recordings and legacy studio technology. He teamed up with long-time collaborator, multi-instrumentalist Yannis Panos to make a record in the old way; as a group of musicians in a room playing live to magnetic tape. This record would channel their shar…

Sueddeutschland & Der Untergang Des Hauses H.
*300 copies limited edition* "40 years after six students from the prestigious university of Tübingen were latecomers to the German new wave (...), it is once again the turn for Familie Hesselbach, who have always been called "The German Talking Heads", something we could agree with, if we add to their sound the rhythm schemes of A Certain Ratio, the groovy bass of Bush Tetras, the skronky disco-esque of James White, and turns Byrne's voice to a more spastic and cons ice one. Berlin´s play loud!…
The Plastic Cloud
*200 copies limited edition* "What remains so remarkable about the band's album is that... the performances retain an energy, but also a naivety, that somehow evokes both the Jefferson Airplane and the Velvet Underground — often within the same song." —Shindig! Magazine In 1968, the Plastic Cloud released one of the greatest underground psychedelic albums ever made: a swirl of gossamer vocals and Tolkien references swathed in the some of the most relentless fuzz guitar you will ever hear. It is …
I Sigh, I Resign
HoP warmly welcomes Belgian chantress Annelies Monseré back to the fold.
Drones In The Air
*150 copies limited edition* Drones In The Air is Andrew Hargreaves’ first experiments with ‘intuitive’ just intonation. Forgoing the synths and magnetic heads of his TLO work for a minimal set up of oscillators, Lyra-8 and a handful of pedals, to keep a precise focus on the creation of microtonal spectrums. Over the course of four austere, slow moving parts, harmonic textures are built from the clashing frequencies of the oscillators revealing over tones that veer from the ominous to the cacoph…
