Issue 76 of Musicworks, spring 2000, under the title Changing the Score. It includes David Tudor's personal notes on a Cage score, Pauline Oliveros on quantum listening, Rolf Gehlhaar's Sound=Space installation, the Romanian composer Ana-Maria Avram, Pamela Z, the lithophone of Jesse Stewart and reflections by Udo Kasemets.
On the CD, Pamela Z layers her voice through samplers and delays, Warren Burt sings with theremin and synthesizer in Melbourne, and Stewart plays stones and an inverted snare drum. Avram conducts the Hyperion Ensemble in Bucharest, and an excerpt of Primordial Lift by Oliveros, with Tony Conrad on electric violin, closes the disc.
